Baker thot\u00eb se udh\u00ebhoqi ekipin ligjor t\u00eb Xhorxh Bush n\u00eb Florida, ku do p\u00ebrcaktohej se kush do ishte presidenti i ri i Amerik\u00ebs. Gara ishte e ngusht\u00eb dhe kandidat\u00ebt ndaheshin me vet\u00ebm 300 vota.<\/p>\n<p>Sipas tij, n\u00eb raste t\u00eb tilla nuk mund t\u00eb ket\u00eb negociata, pasi nj\u00ebri nga kandidat\u00ebt do duhet t\u00eb humbas\u00eb. Baker shkruan se \u00ebsht\u00eb e pap\u00ebrshtatshme t\u00eb hedh\u00ebsh posht\u00eb rezultatin e t\u00eb mbash zgjedhje t\u00eb reja. N\u00eb kushte t\u00eb tilla, sipas tij, nj\u00ebsoj si n\u00eb SHBA, pal\u00ebt duhet t\u00eb pranojn\u00eb vendimin e marr\u00eb nga trupa ligjore. Baker shkruan se Kolegji Zgjedhor \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb trup\u00eb e p\u00ebrzgjedhur me konsensus n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri.<\/p>\n<p>Sipas tij, Gore mund t\u00eb kishte sfiduar vendimin e gjykat\u00ebs n\u00eb SHBA, q\u00eb e shpalli humb\u00ebs, por ai nuk e b\u00ebri, nuk e futi qeverin\u00eb n\u00eb kaos. \u201c<strong>Kjo ndodhi sepse Bush dhe Gore ishin t\u00eb vendosur t\u00eb pranonin rezultatin, pasi ishin p\u00ebrgatitur p\u00ebr t\u00eb v\u00ebn\u00eb interesat e vendit mbi ato personale<\/strong>,\u201d shkruan Baker.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>M\u00eb 27 qershor, KQZ e shpalli Bash\u00ebn fitues me 93 vota, megjithat\u00eb socialist\u00ebt kan\u00eb apeluar n\u00eb Kolegjin Zgjedhor, q\u00eb do jap\u00eb tani nj\u00eb vendim p\u00ebr Tiran\u00ebn p\u00ebr her\u00eb t\u00eb tret\u00eb. Nd\u00ebrsa opozita ndoshta nuk do k\u00ebnaqet kurr\u00eb me rezultatin &#8211; nj\u00ebsoj si shum\u00eb demokrat\u00eb amerikan\u00eb q\u00eb shprehin akoma frustrim p\u00ebr fitoren e Bush n\u00eb vitin 2000 &#8211; ajo q\u00eb mbetet p\u00ebr t&#8217;u par\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb se a do pranoj\u00eb vendimin q\u00eb del nga nj\u00eb proces ligjor i ngritur n\u00eb vend.
