Duke lexuar librin e z.Ndoc Selimi eshte e natyresheme qe lexuesi ndihet mire ,i rikthehet rileximit rreshte per rreshte.
\nJo pa qellim vendosa te dergoje per botim pjese nga ky liber mjafte interesant.<\/p>\n

Kapten Mark Dode Gera (1900-1980)
\nI lindur ne lagjen Gogsh te Komanit me 1900.Eshte biri i Dode Prekes (Dode, Preke, Leke,b Kole, Gera)i fisit Geraj.
\nNe vitin 1905 familja e Markut trasferohet ne Shkoder, pasi lumi Drin ju kishte rrembyer pronat e arat,por edhe me deshiren e nenes Drande per t’u dhene shkolle femijeve.
\nMe 1907 i vdes i jati, Doda ne moshen 43 vjec ne lagjen Arra e Madhe, Shkoder duke lene jetime te gjashte femijet, nga te cilet arriten te mbi jetojne vetem tre, Maria, Marku dhe Gjoka
\nNe pa mundesi jetese, Maria shkon ne jetimoren e Motrave Seleziane, ndersa Marku hyn ne shkollen-konvikt Shulbryder.
\nPer dy vjet (1916-1917)punon si perkethyes i gjermanishtes prane Felol xhandarmari deri ne fund te Luftes Pare Botrore.
\nM 1919 mbaron shkollen e Rudoffit (alievo gratuoto) ne Tirane duke marre graden rreshter dhe me 1920 fiton nji konkurs per aspirant dhe fillon keshtu nji pune te veshtire ne pothuajse ne te gjitha rrethet e Shqiperise si:
\nNdihmes komandant ne Shijak,zv.komandant per Tropojen me qender ne Kolgecaj.
\nMe 1924 per pune te mire i jepet grada n\/toger dhe trasferohet ne Shishtavec te Kukesit.
\nNe vitin 1925,Mark Gera gjendet me pune ne Shkoder.Martohet me Lina Sheldijen.
\nMe 1926 trasferohet ne Fier, ku lind edhe djali, poeti dhe shkrimtari i ardhshem,Aleksander Gera.<\/p>\n

Perseri levizje e trasferime, Koplik, Tropoje, Peshkopi.Me 1929 me dekret mbreteror merr graden Kapten.Ne keto vite emrohet Rreth Komandant i Tepelenes e me vone Qark Komandant i Elbasanit.
\nNe vitin 1943, per paaftesi shendetesore,me dekret mbreteror del ne lirim (pension). Gjate pushtimit italo-gjerman kerkohet disa here te sherbeje ne ushtri o ne xhandarmari,por ne menyre absolute kapiteni Mark Gera nuk pranon.
\nNe vitin 1947 detyrohet te beje pune te ndrysheme dhe te renda,pasi qeveria komuniste nuk i njihte as pensionin e invaliditetit.
\nMe 1977,oficeri madhor,qe sherbeu ne te gjithe Shqiperine,kthehet ne vendin e lindjes,ne Komanin qe e deshti shume,jo vetem per t’i dhane lamtumiren e fundit.por edhe per nji qellim tjeter fisnik,per t’i ngulitute ne zemer nipit Mark,qe gezon emrin e tij,dashurine per vendin e te pareve.
\nKapiten Mark Dode Gera vdes me 5 maj 1980 ne Shkoder i nderuar nga familjaret,miqete dashamire.

\nPo ashtu edhe i biri i Markut,Aleksander (Sander)Gera gezoi nji karriere e profesion te larte.
\nSi pedagog letersie,shkrimtar,poet,drejtues i bibliotekes “M.Barleti” Shkoder etj.
\nPer prodhimtari letrare zgjidhet antar i Lidhjes se Shkrimtareve dhe Artisteve te Shqiperise.
\nNder botimet e shumta bejne pjese “Lugina e qete” “Gjurme te kohes”Kange Agimesh”Kange e zbritun nga malet”Nora eHotit”dhe me 1997 del nga shtypi libri me poezii stilit modern “Via Lucis”.
\nSander Gera gjate gjithe kohes ishte ne desidenc te heshtur me shtetin.Me dhjetra jane shkrime e poezi te pa botuara si:”Sonata e Kain Abelit”Epitafe te Zalli i Kirit”Bukuria e Gjarpnit”(roman ne vargje) si edhe cikli me poezi “Kenget e Nendheshme”
\nSander Gera eshte autor i teksteve te shume kengeve popullore tashma te vendosura ne fondin e arte te muzikes shqiptare si:”M’lule t’bukura”Krushqeve”etj.
\nNe nji interviste dhene para vdekjes ne gazeten “Dielli” te shoqerise “VATRA”TE NJU-JORK thote:
\n“Po nuk e fillove me kange jeten,me cfare tjeter do ta fillosh?Ato kange ishin limonadat e para ne sferen e madhnueshme te poezise”
