Ne shkrimin \u201cKontributi i klerit katolik Kongresit t\u00eb Manastirit\u201d Dr. Jahja Dran\u00e7olli nder te tjera thote:<\/p>\n

Para vitit 1899 \u201c ..n\u00eb t\u00ebr\u00eb Shqip\u00ebrin\u00eb, publikimet e \u00e7do teksti n\u00eb shqip ishin t\u00eb ndaluara.Madje edhe publikimet e librave q\u00eb nuk ishin thjesht me lutje fetare, nga ana e Qeveris\u00eb turke konsideroheshin porsi veg\u00ebl politike me q\u00ebllime kryengritjeje dhe ligj\u00ebrisht d\u00ebnohet autori dhe shp\u00ebrndar\u00ebsi\u2026.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Tue qene se gjate pushtimit turk-osman kleri katolik shqiptar ka dhane kontributin kryesor per gjuhen shqipe, studjuesi Dr. Jahja Dran\u00e7olli asht perqendrue ne kontributin e pikrisht te ketij kleri per shkrimin dhe levrimin e gjuhes shqipe gjate ketij pushtimi shume shekullor obskurantist si nji problem me randesi te ve\u00e7ante patriotike.<\/p>\n

Nga te dhanat historike rezulton se per shkak te perpjekjeve te klerit katolik shqiptar per te ruejte gjuhen shqipe, ky kler asht persekutue nga pushtuesi turk-osman simbas sanksioneve te percaktueme ne urdhnat e sulltanit dhe ka pase priften katolik qe jane eleminue edhe fizikisht per kete shkak tue u ba martir te Atedheut per gjuhen shqipe.
\nKy kler ka qene koshjent per rrezikun e jetes per shkak te shkeljes se ketyne urdhnave te pushtuesit turk, me gjithe ate ai nuk asht terhjeke nga kryemja e kesaj detyre patriotike, vetem e vetem qe te mos humbin gjuha dhe kultura e shqiptarve, pr\u00e0 identiteti shqiptar.<\/p>\n

Nji kontribut te randesishem, por ma te vogel, per ruejtjen dhe levrimin e gjuhes shqipe ka luejt edhe kleri orthodoks shqiptar, tue luftue ne dy fronte qofte ndaj urdhnesave ndaluese te pushtuesit turk-osman, qofte edhe ndaj nderhymjeve te egra te shovinistve grek.<\/p>\n

Ky kler ka luftue gjithnji per krijimin e nji Kishe Orthodokse Autoqefale Shqiptare te shkeputun qofte nga Patriarkana e Stambollit, qofte edhe nga Kisha Orthodokse Greke. Edhe ky kler ka pase martirt e vet te Atedheut per gjuhen shqipe.<\/p>\n

Nji shembull i njohtun nga te gjithe asht prifti orthodoks Papa Kristo Negovani (1875-1905), te cilin e vrane shovinistet grek ne vitin 1905, sepse donte te perdorte gjuhen shqipe per Liturgjine kishtare orthodokse, qe ishte nji nga elementet e shkeputjes se Kishes Orthodokse Shqiptare nga ajo greke.
\nMendoj se asht i nevojshem nji studim edhe mbi kontributin e klerit orthodoks shqiptar per gjuhen shqipe gjate kohes se pushtimit turk-osman.<\/p>\n

Me te drejte studjuesi nga Gjakova Mexhid Yvejsi nder te tjera thote:
\n\u201c \u2026. Gjuha \u00ebsht\u00eb shenja m\u00eb e madhe e nj\u00eb kombi\u2026 K\u00ebta gjuh\u00ebtar\u00eb, k\u00ebta atdhetar\u00eb, ishin\u00eb shqiptar\u00eb kur ende s\u2019kishte Shqipni\u2026. \u201c .<\/p>\n

Dhe pikrisht per kete arsye se Gjuha \u00ebsht\u00eb shenja m\u00eb e madhe e nj\u00eb kombi pushtuesi turk-osman ka dashte ta \u00e7veshin popullin tone, ve\u00e7 aspekteve te tjera, edhe nga ky element i randesishem i identitetit te tij. Prandej qendrimi ndaj lavrimit te gjuhes shqipe gjate pushtimit turk-osman kishte karakter jashtezakonisht te madh patriotik dhe asht nji nder treguesit e ketij qendrimi, asht vija e demarkacionit midis qendrimit patriotik te vertete dhe qendrimit kuislingo-oportunist.
\nI vetmi \u201cautoritet shqiptar\u201d gjate pese shekujve te pushtimit turk-osman, qe populli respektonte me bindje, ishin tre kleret shqiptare te besimtarve shqiptar. Keto klere kane qene mbeshtetja shpirtnore dhe morale respektivisht e besimtarve musliman, e besimtarve orthodoks dhe e besimtarve katolik shqiptar.
\nPor nga ana tjeter keto klere nga ana e tyne kishin edhe detyra ndaj popullit te vet. Keto klere ve\u00e7 detyrave shpirtnore, kishin edhe detyren e randesishme patriotike ndaj besimtarve te vet ne lidhje me lavrimin e gjuhes shqipe si nji nder aspektet e identitetit shqiptar.
\nPa dyshim detyren kryesore gjate okupacionit turk, e ka pase natyrisht kleri musliman shqiptar, qofte si kleri i 70% i shqiptarve, qofte edhe sepse ky kler ka pase pozita ma te forta gjate pushtimit turk-osman. Prandej vetevetiu lindin keto pyetje:
\nMbasi \u201c \u2026Gjuha \u00ebsht\u00eb shenja m\u00eb e madhe e nj\u00eb kombi \u2026\u201d a e ka krye dhe si e ka krye ne pergjithesi kleri musliman detyren e vet patriotike per gjuhen ndaj besimtarve te vet shqiptare musliman, pr\u00e0 ndaj shumices se popullsise shqiptare?
\nA e ka ba kleri musliman perkethimin e Kur\u2019an-it ne gjuhen shqipe gjate pushtimit turk-osman, apo, per oportunitet ka miratue urdhnesat ndaluese te pushtuesit per shkrimin e gjuhes shqipe pa ba asnji lloj tentative apo qendrese?
\nPra perfundimisht cili ka qene Kontributi i Klerit Musliman Shqiptar per gjuhen shqipe gjate pushtimit turk-osman dhe per Kongresin e Manastirit?
\nUn mendoj se asht i nevojshem nji studim edhe mbi kontributin e klerit musliman shqiptar per gjuhen shqipe gjate kohes se pushtimit turk-osman si kleri dominant shqiptar dhe keshtu te percaktohet njikohesisht edhe qendrimi patriotik apo qendrimi kuislingo-oportunist i tij.<\/p>\n
