Aktualisht p\u00ebrbehet nga 5 komuna <strong>Shala<\/strong>, <strong>Shoshi<\/strong>, <strong>Pulti<\/strong>, <strong>Shllaku<\/strong>, <strong>Temali<\/strong>. E konfiguruar historikisht si trev\u00eb historike dhe etonografike, me identitet t\u00eb spikatur komb\u00ebtar. Dukagjini \u00ebsht\u00eb blloku i vet\u00ebm kompakt i maleve shqiptare, s\u00eb bashku me Mirdit\u00ebn, q\u00eb ruajti homogjenitetin kristian, duke u vet\u00ebqeverisur sipas s\u00eb Drejt\u00ebs s\u00eb tij Zakonore n\u00eb koh\u00ebn e gjat\u00eb t\u00eb sundimit otoman.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-7236\" title=\"7 shaljan\u00ebt\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fjala.info\/2014\/7shaljanet.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"455\" \/><br \/>\nDukagjini ka hyr\u00eb n\u00eb histori si treve e kryengrit\u00ebse dhe qendrestare ndaj turkut, serbeve, malazezve, anti Zogiste, anti komuniste dhe treva praroj\u00eb e Shkodres n\u00eb l\u00ebvizjen demokratike t\u00eb vitit 1990. (Madje seksioni i par\u00eb i PD \u00ebsht\u00eb krijuar n\u00eb Dukagjin dhe m\u00eb pas n\u00eb Shkod\u00ebr). N\u00eb koh\u00ebn e Zogut dhe okupacionit ka qen\u00eb N\u00ebnprofektur\u00eb. N\u00eb vitin 1948 n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb djall\u00ebzore k\u00ebsaj krahine i merren Nikaj-Merturi p\u00ebr t\u00eb krijuar rrethin e Tropoj\u00ebs, nd\u00ebrsa Shllaku i bashk\u00ebngjitur rrethinave te Shkodr\u00ebs dhe Dukagjini se bashku me gjysm\u00ebn e sip\u00ebrfaqes humbi statusin e rrethit q\u00eb kishte si krahinat si motra Puka, Mal\u00ebsia e Madhe dhe Mirdita duke kaluar n\u00eb Lokalitet n\u00eb p\u00ebrb\u00ebrje t\u00eb Shkodr\u00ebs.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eb Projektin p\u00ebrfundimtar\u00eb t\u00eb ndarjes e re administrative paraqitur nga maxhoranca Komunat Shllak dhe Temal i kalojn\u00eb N\u00ebnshkodr\u00ebs, kurse Komunat Shal\u00eb, Shosh dhe Pult i bashk\u00ebngjt\u00ebn Bashkis\u00eb s\u00eb Shkodr\u00ebs me shtrirje nga Jezerca n\u00eb Adriatik. Kjo ndarje fshin\u00eb p\u00ebrfundimisht nga harta politike administrative e Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb nj\u00eb krahin\u00eb q\u00eb ka identitetin e vet kulturor, regjional dhe pozit\u00ebn gjeografike t\u00eb virgj\u00ebr alpine t\u00eb formatuar n\u00eb nj\u00eb kohezion historik disa shekullor. Dukagjini i Kuvendeve mesjetare p\u00ebr lirin\u00eb e Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb, Dukagjini i Kuvendit t\u00eb Prizrenit, Ger\u00e7es, Flak\u00ebrim\u00eb e Kryengritjeve t\u00eb m\u00ebdha anti Turke q\u00eb i paraprin\u00eb Pavar\u00ebsis\u00eb.
