Z. Rexhaj e l\u00ebshoi vendlindjen, Kosov\u00ebn, n\u00eb dhjetor 1983. Veprimtaria e tij kishte r\u00ebn\u00eb n\u00eb sy t\u00eb okupator\u00ebve serb\u00eb pas demonstratave t\u00eb &#8217;81-shit. Persekucioni nis me nxjerrjen nga puna t\u00eb familjar\u00ebve Rexhaj, Agimit s\u00eb bashku me v\u00ebllan\u00eb e tij Bashkimin.<\/p>\n<p>Nuk mbeti rrug\u00eb tjet\u00ebr vec ikja n\u00eb m\u00ebrgim. P\u00ebrmes v\u00ebshtir\u00ebsish arrijn\u00eb n\u00eb kampin e refugjat\u00ebve n\u00eb Austri, dhe prej andej n\u00eb SHBA. Z. Rexhaj q\u00eb n\u00eb fillim u p\u00ebrfshi n\u00eb l\u00ebvizjen n\u00eb ndihm\u00eb t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs. Ai ishte bashk\u00ebthemelues i Shoqat\u00ebs &#8220;Kosova Demokratike&#8221; 1990 ne New York e cila zhvilloi nj\u00eb veprimtari komb\u00ebtare t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishme n\u00eb drejtim t\u00eb njohj\u00ebs s\u00eb represionit serb n\u00eb Kosov\u00ebn e pushtuar. Zoti Rexhaj ishte bashk\u00ebpun\u00ebtor i ngusht\u00eb i Presidentit Rugova n\u00eb vazhdim\u00ebsi, apo th\u00ebn\u00eb m\u00eb drejt\u00eb nj\u00eb mik personal i Presidentit, dhe mik\u00ebprit\u00ebs i tij n\u00eb SHBA gjat\u00eb gjitha vizitave.<\/p>\n<p>Themelimi i LDK-s\u00eb n\u00eb Kosov\u00eb, krijoj\u00eb nj\u00eb l\u00ebvizje optimiste tek shqiptar\u00ebt e Amerik\u00ebs. N\u00eb ato procese formuse t\u00eb L\u00ebvizjes Demokratike t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs, shqiptar\u00ebt e Amerik\u00ebs kan\u00eb pjes\u00ebn e tyre, nd\u00ebrkoh\u00eb q\u00eb z. Rexhaj, udh\u00ebtoi nga Amerika n\u00eb Kosov\u00eb, n\u00eb fund t\u00eb Shkurtit 1990, dhe dha kontributin e tij. Ai u takua me presidentin historik t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova dhe bashk\u00ebpun\u00ebtor\u00ebt e tij, dhe mori udh\u00ebzime p\u00ebr krijimin e strukturave t\u00eb LDK-s\u00eb n\u00eb SHBA. Me 21- Mars 1990 nis\u00ebn an\u00ebtar\u00ebsimet n\u00eb LDK, n\u00eb Restorantin q\u00eb ishte pron\u00eb e v\u00ebllez\u00ebrve, Bashkim dhe Agim Rexhaj. Pas k\u00ebtij momenti veprimtaria e LDK-s\u00eb n\u00eb SHBA nis t\u00eb jap\u00eb frytet e veta, t\u00eb sensibilizoj\u00eb politik\u00ebn amerikane, p\u00ebrmes demonstratave, dhe vizitave n\u00eb Washington.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-7236\" title=\"Agim Rexhaj kujton Rugov\u00ebn\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fjala.info\/2015\/agim_rexhaj_kujton_rugoven.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" \/> Z. Rexhaj \u00ebsht\u00eb pjesmarr\u00ebs dhe organizator i demonstratave p\u00ebr Kosov\u00ebn n\u00eb New York, Washington, Dejton etj. Z. Rexhaj e ka udh\u00ebhequr p\u00ebr disa vite LDK n\u00eb SHBA, ku kontributi p\u00ebr mbledhjen e ndihmave financiare p\u00ebr Kosov\u00ebn, Z.Rexhaj kontriboj ne mbledhjen e fondeve p\u00ebr luft\u00ebn. Po ashtu ai dhe bashk\u00ebpun\u00ebtor\u00ebt kan\u00eb dh\u00ebn\u00eb kontribut t\u00eb madh n\u00eb afrimin e politikan\u00ebve, dhe zyrtar\u00ebve amerikan\u00eb n\u00eb mb\u00ebshtetje t\u00eb c\u00ebshtjes s\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs. Z. Rexhaj, dhe bashk\u00ebpun\u00ebtor\u00ebt e tij ishin mb\u00ebshtet\u00ebs t\u00eb fuqish\u00ebm n\u00eb Rambuje, ku shkuan ai dhe shum\u00eb vatran\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb. Z. Rexhaj ishte aktive n\u00eb pajtimin e shum\u00eb gjaqeve (38 Pajtesa). Me Federat\u00ebn VATRA, z. Rexhaj u bashkua her\u00ebt. Kontaktet e tij me vatran\u00ebt i takojn\u00eb vitit 1986 dhe u b\u00eb pjes\u00eb aktive e saj.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00eb vitin 1991 ishte sekretar i Vatr\u00ebs, nd\u00ebrkoh\u00eb q\u00eb ajo kishte p\u00ebr kryetar nj\u00eb nd\u00ebr figurat eminente t\u00eb inteligjenc\u00ebs shqiptare, Prof. Arshi Pip\u00ebn. Nj\u00eb vit m\u00eb von\u00eb ai do t\u00eb zgjidhej zv\/Kryetar i Vatr\u00ebs, detyr\u00eb q\u00eb e mban edhe sot. Nuk ka veprimtari t\u00eb Vatr\u00ebs ku t\u00eb mos jet\u00eb edhe kontributi i z. Rexhaj; ai ishte pjes\u00eb aktive e komisionit t\u00eb p\u00ebrcjelljes s\u00eb eshtrave t\u00eb themeluesit t\u00eb Vatr\u00ebs, Faik Konica, po ashtu ishte n\u00ebTiran\u00eb n\u00eb qershor 1998, kur nj\u00eb delegacion i shoqat\u00ebs Vatra shkoi nga SHBA, q\u00ebndroi n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri n\u00eb kuadrin e nj\u00eb misioni v\u00ebzhgues dhe ndihme p\u00ebr shqiptar\u00ebt e Kosov\u00ebs pas fillimit t\u00eb agresionit ushtarak serb. Vatra dor\u00ebzoi me at\u00eb rast n\u00eb Zyr\u00ebn e Kosov\u00ebs n\u00eb Tiran\u00eb, disa dhjet\u00ebra mij\u00eb dolla\u00ebr p\u00ebr Luft\u00ebn n\u00eb Kosov\u00eb.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-7236\" title=\"Agim Rexhaj takim\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fjala.info\/2015\/agim_rexhaj_takim.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" \/> Po ashtu z. Rexhaj dhe nj\u00eb pjes\u00eb e delegacionit shkuan n\u00eb Tetov\u00eb p\u00ebr t&#8217;u takuar me p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsuesit e Partis\u00eb Demokratike t\u00eb Shqiptar\u00ebve, dhe per ta vizituar Kryetarin e Gostivarit z. Rufi Osmani n\u00eb burg, t\u00eb burgosur nga regjimi maqedonas p\u00ebr shkak t\u00eb p\u00ebrdorimit t\u00eb flamurit shqiptar. Bashk\u00eb me Vatran\u00ebt, menj\u00ebher\u00eb pas luft\u00ebs n\u00eb Kosov\u00eb, Rexhaj ishte pjes\u00eb e delegacionit shqiptaro-amerikan. Z. Agim Rexhaj ka qen\u00eb nj\u00eb mb\u00ebshtet\u00ebs i vendosur i proceseve demokratike n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri q\u00eb n\u00eb fillimet e L\u00ebvizjes Demokratike e deri sot. Z. Agim Rexhaj \u00ebsht\u00eb tep\u00ebr aktiv edhe sot, si n\u00ebnkryetar i Vatr\u00ebs, por edhe si individ. Ai \u00ebsht\u00eb pjesmarr\u00ebs i p\u00ebrhersh\u00ebm i takimeve me kongresist\u00eb e senator\u00eb amerikan\u00eb, merr pjes\u00eb n\u00eb fushatat e tyre, n\u00eb mbledhejn e fondeve etj.<\/p>\n<p>Po ashtu z. Rexhaj \u00ebsht\u00eb n\u00eb korent t\u00eb zhvillimeve n\u00eb politik\u00ebn amerikane, dhe kontribues n\u00eb dh\u00ebnien e opinioneve, prej vitit 2004 \u00ebsht\u00eb anetar i Komitetit Komb\u00ebtar mbi Politik\u00ebn e Jashtme Amerikane (NCAFP) National Committee on American Foreing Policy. An\u00ebtar i Bordit p\u00ebr shum\u00eb vite n\u00eb Ligen Shqiptaro Amerikane- 1990-1996. Z.Rexhaj n\u00eb vitin 2004 me delegacionin e Vatres\u00eb, dhe LDK-s\u00eb, n\u00eb Vatikan mori pjes\u00eb n\u00eb ceremonin e Lumturimit t\u00eb N\u00ebn\u00eb Terez\u00eb s. Ishte n\u00eb komisionin p\u00ebr ngritjen e shtatoreve t\u00eb Nen\u00eb Terezes n\u00eb Prishtin\u00eb, Mitrovic\u00eb dhe Strug\u00eb.<\/p>\n<p>Z.Rexhaj ishte edhe n\u00eb komisionin p\u00ebr ngritjen e Memorialit t\u00eb Shaban Polluzh\u00ebs n\u00eb fshatin Polluzh\u00eb-Kosov\u00eb n\u00eb gusht t\u00eb vitit 2004, (ku paten probleme t\u00eb shumta nga majtist\u00ebt e PDK-s\u00eb), n\u00eb muajin gusht 9 here udh\u00ebtoi nga Peja n\u00eb Polluzh\u00eb me k\u00ebmb\u00ebngujle q\u00eb inagurimi i k\u00ebtij Memoriali t\u00eb sponzoruar nga shqip\u00ebtaret e New Yorkut me Kryetar komisioni Vatrani Sejdi Hysenaj t\u00eb realizohet n\u00eb muajin gusht ku nj\u00eb pjes\u00eb e konsiderueshme e m\u00ebrgimtar\u00ebve nga New Yorku ishin t\u00eb pranish\u00ebm, por majtistet e komunes se Drenasit e b\u00ebn\u00eb Inagurimin pa prezencen shqip\u00ebtaro-amerikane.<\/p>\n<p>Z. A. Rexhaj ishte an\u00ebtar n\u00eb komisionin p\u00ebr ngritjen e Katedrales N\u00ebna Tereze n\u00eb Prishtine. Z. Rexhaj me 20 Mars 2005 n\u00eb Lugano te Zvicrese, p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsoi Vatren dhe LDK-n\u00eb , me rastin e 75 vjetorit t\u00eb vdekj\u00ebs s\u00eb Aleksander Moisiut. T\u00eb gjitha k\u00ebto veprimtari dhe aktivitete q\u00eb u num\u00ebruan jan\u00eb vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb pjes\u00eb mozaiku t\u00eb k\u00ebtij veprimtari, dhe tani m\u00eb t\u00eb dekoruar me Dekorat\u00ebn \u201cNDERI I KOMBIT\u201d nga Presidenti i Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb, nj\u00eb mir\u00ebnjohje kontributit dhe shemb\u00eblltyr\u00ebs s\u00eb Z. Agim Rexhaj.<\/p>\n<p><em>Gazeta Bota Sot kishte nderin q\u00eb gjithmon\u00eb ishte e p\u00ebrkrahur nga Z.
