This is the second of two blast emails, each containing 14 edited television interviews with us about Kosova on CNN and Fox News from 1998 to 2000. These interviews reflect the Albanian American Civic League’s efforts to urge the United States to convince the international community to arm the Kosova Liberation Army, to indict Serbian dictator Slobodan Milosevic in the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, and to recognize the independence of Kosova. All of this was accomplished in addition to the NATO bombing of Serbia as a last resort.<\/p>\n
On the occasion of the Civic League’s 25th anniversary, we felt that it was important to make this history available, especially to a younger generation not old enough to have witnessed or to understand the actions that we took to save Kosovar Albanians from Bosnia’s fate and to bring Slobodan Milosevic’s decade-long genocidal march across Europe to an end.<\/p>\n
